EPISODE DESCRIPTION

This week is a very special show, Ray and Patrick are joined by 10 guests. We open the show with UFC ring announcer Bruce Buffer. He talks about his announcing, his favourite fighters to announce and has some great behind the scenes stories which including sparring with Royce Gracie and fighting in a lift witt Frank Trigg. We then move on to local MMA as we look at the scene in Coventry. There is a big event coming up soon at the Skydome which is Star Strike Promotions. We speak to one of the top trainers in the city Craig Burrows and we aslo talk to one of his fighters who will be fighting in a few weeks, Sidney Shelton. We then continue are countdown to XFC 22 as we chat with Nate Landwehr and Corey Hill. As well as talking about there up and coming fights Corey also talks to us about his recovery from one of the worst injuries in MMA history. We then switch across to Bellator and speak to a Semi Finalist in David 'Caveman' Rickels, he talks about his win over Lloyd Woodard and also gives his views on the rest of the field in his bracket. We then move on to the UFC and talk to Matt Riddle who will be fighting in Wembley in a weeks time, he talks about TUF 7, his UFC career so far also talks about his views on drug testing and the double standards. We then move back to Bellator and talk to Brent Weedman. Brent his coming off of his biggest career over Zaromskis, as he broke his hand in the fight he has had to pull out of the tournament. He revealed to us that he will be in next seasons welterweight tournament. Are next guest is non other then 'Big' John McCarthy. McCarthy talks about the old days of MMA, what it was like being a referee and having no power in the Octagan and what he has done to improve the overall standard of referee's in all of MMA. Are final guest is Housten Alexander. Housten talks to us about his career highs, facing Keith Jardine in his UFC debut and also his activites and life away from MMA. He also revealed to us that his next fight will be on March 30 for Victory Fight Championship, opponent is yet to be announced.
